February 2024 Newsletter
Our Shared Past
As an organization, we have started a new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Sub-Committee to explore and educate ourselves and implement policies that ensure we are doing what we are saying we are doing with our values. The work is never done and we are continuing to educate ourselves on how to be better stewards. As part of this work, we will be highlighting different aspects each month about our shared history as part of our continued learning, growing, and serving together.
We hope you'll enjoy reading about Black Leaders in Housing: Past and Present, from our friends at Rebuilding Together.
We invite you to learn more about the history of Black History by clicking here.
Our Why
In case you missed the unveiling of three wonderful stories of community, connection, and advocacy, here's the link to hear and learn more. The story boards, created by Window Seat Media and their partners, will be available for viewing at the Olympia - TRL on 8th Ave. through March 11, 2024. Then you'll see them out and about.
