Our Villages

We strongly believe at New Horizon Communities that everyone deserves safe and affordable housing. We work to provide housing for our community members experiencing homelessness in Western Washington. We operate tiny house villages that offer communal living with rich peer mentorship and support. Our staff work side-by-side with residents to help them reach their individual goals and to connect them with various community services.

Quixote Village - Olympia, Washington

Quixote Village is the one that started it all! We are a thriving tiny house village with 30 unique individuals living together. We have a Program Supervisor and two Case Managers that work with residents and provide a variety of services to fit each residents' needs.

Quixote Village is named after Camp Quixote, a self-governed tent city that formed in Olympia in the early 2000’s. Our nonprofit was created to support Camp Quixote, and in 2013 created permanent, dignified homes for the residents of the camp. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the courage, support, and advocacy of the Camp Quixote residents and supporters.

If you are interested in applying for residency at the Village, please contact  1-844-628-7343.

Quixote Village is on the land of the Cowlitz, Coast Salish, Nisqually, and Squaxin Island Tribes, whose ancestors have been here since time immemorial. We express deep gratitude for the local tribes who have supported our efforts to grow New Horizon Communities to what it is today.
