Autism Awareness Month

As an organization, we have started a new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Sub-Committee to explore and educate ourselves and implement policies that ensure we are doing what we are saying we are doing with our values. The work is never done and we are continuing to educate ourselves on how to be better stewards. As part of this work, we will be highlighting different aspects each month about our shared history as part of our continued learning, growing, and serving together.

Our Why  

Our 'why' goes beyond providing a safe place for people to feel safe, to grow, reconnect with loved ones, and create a new family within the village. It also means honoring those who have left us, providing a place for them to be remembered, and cherished. We are blessed to have our residents honored in this way as an Eagle Scout project.

Gratitude!

The long awaited installation of solar panels is happening at our Orting Veterans Village. It won't be long for our Shelton Veterans Village too!
